It happened spontaneously last summer when we were sitting on the Temujin's deck. The boat was at anchor, rolling slightly, with the afternoon sunlight sliding languidly around on the wavelets like liquid gold. Riches are everywhere when you're not trying to capture them.
"Imagine if we started a publishing house and only had projects that are fun or beautiful," said Robert "It would be especially for writers and illustrators."
"I agree," said Alastair, "it should only do what the creatives want to do. Luckily, they are us."
So here we are, almost a year later, with this web site and an eclectic collection of stories and drawings. We still sit on the deck and talk about ideas. We haven't run out of them, although we'd be happy to have other people join us and throw in their ideas as well. There is still space and empty deck chairs.
